Uber Rally at Galvanize

March 13, 2013 Sandy Grason

Innovation versus Regulation -- The Battle continues. This week upstart app maker Uber Technologies testified before the Federal Trade Commission as the Colorado Public Utilities Commission lobbies to them shut down.  Uber held a rally/celebration at Galvanize Monday evening to thank the thousands of Colorado residents that signed petitions, wrote to the governor, tweeted & posted messages on Facebook.

There was live music and cocktails, but more importantly the city of Denver came out to support the innovative app maker that allows consumers to hail an upscale ride on demand.  Check out some of the community members we caught up with during the festivities.

It's not too late to support Uber, go here to sign the petition.  Continue to tell your friends, family and colleagues through social media.  And make sure you've downloaded the Uber app and use it often! Tell Colorado lawmakers:

We want Uber to stay in Colorado!
