This year marks the Centennial Anniversary of the death of Buffalo Bill Cody - cowboy, entertainer and yes, entrepreneur and businessman. It might be easy to view the legendary performer as a historic figure who would stay in the past, but there are lessons we can take from his business sense.

Jim Salestrom, friend of the Colorado Business Roundtable and Emmy Award winning musician, joins us along with his friend, Steve Friesen, curator of the Buffalo Bill Museum on Lookout Mountain. Together, they discuss the adventuresome decisions William F. Cody made to share the culture of the Wild American West with the rest of America and then across the ocean.

The logistics involved in moving a show with hundreds of animals, cowboys, tents and supplies were incredible. Cody developed a system so efficient that military leaders emulated the process. In addition to the traveling show, Buffalo Bill treated his employees with respect in pay, treatment and by feeding them well too!
