DORA - Financial Literacy

January 10, 2017 Tammy Schaffer

Jill Sarmo from the Division of Securities, Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA), talks with Natriece Bryant with the Banking and Financial Services Divisions about financial literacy.

DORA’s Senior$afe program now includes a program designed to teach financial professionals how to spot elder financial abuse. We’ll discuss efforts to provide information on financial literacy through life stages.

The Smart$tart initiative is a youth based program for 12-17 year olds, teaching them how money works in the world, how to save, how to spend wisely.
$tepUp is aimed at adults from 18 - 55 , teaching personal financial management, the importance of credit, budgeting and consumer awareness of scams and fraud.

Listen LIVE today at 4:00 on Denver's Money Talk 1690 AM.
