This week, Connect & Collaborate brings you the Business of music.

Lewis Brown of Group Vigilant, joins us to discuss his Life Music Workshop which gives young people in correctional programs, and other underserved populations the opportunity to write lyrics and create music that helps to heal the past, and solidify a positive future. We’ll share stories as well as some of their original songs.

Founded in 2008, Group Vigilant is based on the philosophy that organizations and communities are built one person at a time. Their goal is to develop those individuals which is accomplished through a three step approach, in the areas of Youth Development, Organizational Development and Community Development.
