Consumer Energy Alliance - Know the Value

August 15, 2016 Tammy Schaffer

If you like having food in the fridge, a frosty craft beer at your favorite bar, and educated children - then tune in to find out how threats to Colorado's energy industry could impact your way of life.

Andrew Browning and Emily Haggstrom from Consumer Energy Alliance,  (CEA) join us to explain the “Know the Value” campaign which launched on June 13th in response to coordinated efforts within the state to ban fracking and create new anti-oil and gas legislation. “Know the Value” helps educate consumers about how oil and gas is used in our everyday lives and the different groups that it touches, from farming and food to the beer we enjoy at happy hour.

Brent Boydston, Vice President of Public Policy for Colorado Farm Bureau joins us as well to share the Colorado's agricultural perspective regarding energy development on farm and ranch lands.

Listen to Connect & Collaborate at 4:00 on Denver's Money Talk 1690 AM.
