Impact of Marijuana Legalization - Abbey Borchers on Policy

August 16, 2017 Tammy Schaffer

This week we focus on the impact of the legalization of marijuana in Colorado. We’ll look at the positive and negative effects marijuana sales have on our economy,  as well as crime statistics, emergency rooms, children and pets, and much more.

Abbey Borchers, Colorado’s Deputy Director of Marijuana Policy, joins us to talk about how marijuana sales may help our state. We’ll find out if money is actually going to school and road improvements. Abbey will also tell us about tax revenue and education efforts for out-of state pot-tourists and the casually curious.

Listen LIVE at 4:00 on Denver's Money Talk 1690 or via Livestream at cobrt.com/live
