The Colorado Microbusiness Alliance is an advocacy group for microbusinesses, not just small businesses. They aim to support legislation and regulations that help meet the needs of the tiniest businesses, in a non partisan manner.

Today we'll talk with Greg Bashaw, Executive Director of the Colorado Microbusiness Allianceand his guest, Rob Smith, Executive Director of Rocky Mountain MicroFinance Institute. RMMFI won the 2016 small non-profit of the year award from the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce.

RMMFI focuses specifically on taking an aspiring entrepreneur from a difficult background and taking them through a detailed “boot camp” to the point where they pitch their idea to a group of investors. Over the years, many have received investment $ and gone on to do some incredible things.
