Carol Carter, Founder and Executive of GlobalMindED joins us to discuss Why Rural Matters, pertaining to education resources and meeting the needs of students from rural America.

We’ll talk with Dina Horwedel J.D., Director of Public Education and Communications at American Indian College Fund about reaching far and remote areas for education. Specifically, she'll tell us about the Indian College Fund which supports higher education for Native Americans.

Chantal Unfug, Director, Division of Local Government will discuss outreach to smaller, rural communities, and Ken Goodson, Southwest Region Director at AmeriCorps NCCC will share about National Service resources in rural communities.
