STEM Scouts with Courtney McNabb

April 25, 2016 Tammy Schaffer

The need for a STEM educated workforce is primary in Colorado, and the key is to get kids excited about science, technology, engineering and math subjects, so they can build on those skills for great future careers.

STEM Scouts is working to make that happen by reaching girls and boys in elementary, middle and high school. The program features four to six week learning modules including hands on lab experiments in forensics, robotics, circuitry, chemistry and more.

Courtney McNabb, STEM Scouts Executive is executing the pilot program for the Denver Area Council. Tune in to hear how you can get a program in your school, sponsor a program for a low-income area school or volunteer to teach a lab.

Listen LIVE today at 4:00 to Connect & Collaborate on Denver's Money Talk 1690 AM.
