Millennials at Work - Patrick Kelly

March 25, 2016 Tammy Schaffer

Generational differences in the workplace are more significant than ever. When Baby Boomers and Generation X employees got together, they came from similar backgrounds.  But as Millennial workers signed on, all those differences became more pronounced.

Right now, the turnover rate for millennial workers is incredibly high. They're more willing to leave a job for the satisfaction and values they expect, than are workers of any other generation.

Patrick Kelly, founder and president of Change Point Consulting joins us to share strategies for connecting with millennials, particularly as the baby boomer generation leaves the workforce as retirement looms. Employers who shun this new generation of workers now, will have a hard time grooming suitable managers in the near future.
