Women Entrepreneurs - Battington Lashes and Flower Bombers

October 4, 2016 Tammy Schaffer

Entrepreneurs have become the backbone of the Colorado economy. As they continue to innovate and start businesses, they create more jobs and contribute to the economy in ways that are invaluable.

As entrepreneurs, Sirine Swed, Founder of Battington Lashes and Molly McCoy, Founder of Flower Bombers - have created unique businesses, based on very original concepts. Both companies were created to fill a specific need. Battington Lashes, to provide well-made, all natural, cruelty free false eyelashes - and Flower Bombers, to disrupt the flower delivery industry with quality, local arrangements with the delivery fee built in.

We'll talk about what it takes to grow an idea from concept to a fully operational business. Sirine and Molly will reveal the challenges that women uniquely face as entrepreneurs, such as resistance to securing capital, and the ever-present struggle between having it all, and having it alright.

Listen to Connect & Collaborate today at 4:00 on Denver's Money Talk 1690 AM.
