Prodigy Ventures - Apprenticeship at Work

December 23, 2016 Tammy Schaffer

We have a great opportunity to both support local business and young entrepreneurs right in our own neighborhood.

Prodigy Ventures has created a social enterprise concept to provide job training for young people who have not found success in traditional school or work places, through apprenticeship. By creating a craft coffeehouse run by apprentices who learn the business hands-on, from barista training, to inventory, and eventually running the business. This prepares them for future work opportunities or starting their own businesses.

We'll talk with Stephanie Frances, Founder and Executive Director of Prodigy Ventures about the new Prodigy coffeehouse at 40th and Colorado, providing great craft coffee and incredible work experience for young people.

Tune in to learn about this inspiring venture, then stop by 40th and Colorado to support this enterprise.

Listen at 4:00 to Connect & Collaborate on Denver's Money Talk 1690 AM.
